There are numerous opportunities for undergraduate physics students to participate in research. In addition to opportunities here at SSU, many organizations, including universities, national laboratories, and companies, sponsor research opportunities for undergraduates each summer. As advisor to all physics majors at SSU, Dr. Severson maintains extensive lists of such opportunities, many of which are open to students in other fields besides physics.
