State the topic you have chosen for your term paper and submit either a paragraph describing what you intend to learn and write about or a brief outline of the paper you will write. There are many subjects that are interesting but are not science. For this course choose a topic that will enable you to learn some physical science.
Cite at least three references which you will use in researching your paper. Make your citations complete. For a sample format see Finding and Citing Sources. At least one of these should be a book or periodical article, and at least one should be on the World Wide Web. If you think that your topic cannot be found in both places see me in my office hour or make an appointment to see me at another time.
