*A one-page description of what you learned at one or two of these lectures may be submitted for extra credit (15 points), provided it is submitted no later than our class meeting eight days after the lecture. You may submit such descriptions as enclosures with e-mail messages, provided that you title the enclosure "A100EC1yourlastname.doc" where "doc" may be replaced by "rtf" or "pdf' depending on the format. If you submit a second extra credit assignment, make it "A100EC2yourlastname.doc". Be sure your name is also inside the document. Also, please include "A100" and your last name in the title of any e-mail messages you send to me regarding this course.

**The scanning form we use is two-sided, blue, with 200 answers. It was called Pearson NCS until 2008, when the Scantron Company bought this business and renamed the forms. Note that you must fill in your full 9-digit Student ID number on the form, so if you haven't memorized it, be sure to bring your ID card.
